Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are one of the most honest couples in the industry, always game to share the sweet and sour bits of their marital life. The entrepreneurs are also down to share tips on how they raise their kids, including how they teach them about finances.

The ever-cheerful pair share two kids, Delta and Lincoln, who were their inspiration to launch Hello Bello a year ago.

The couple launched Hello Bello in February 2019

The comedians acknowledged how lucky they are to have been given the opportunity to choose the best products for their bundles of joy but felt that it was unfair for others who had to decide whether to choose a more affordable item or something better for their children.

Kristen and Dax launched the line in partnership with Walmart, where the products are sold. The brand uses plant-based material to create diapers, lotions, bug sprays, soaps, and other items that are far more affordable than others – less than $25 – but still are safe for kids.

In becoming entrepreneurs, clearly, the duo has incorporated economy and parenthood. Speaking of which, Dax and Kristen have extremely varying finance beliefs that make it so hard to believe that they are together.

Dax Shepard loves to think about the future

The Parenthood star admits that he is a saver and always thinks about their twilight years, whereas his wife, it’s all about following her passions. Dax narrated that Kristen loves donating money in various causes she believes in, but his role is to make sure that his better half would make decisions that would still enable her to do that and at the same time would leave something for them, too.

The Bless This Mess actor suggests being conscious of where your money goes because it’s easy to put it on things that don’t really matter. Dax went on to divulge how the Frozen star would drive herself crazy over a grocery item, but he would remind her of the high-priced stuff she spent on that didn’t really stress her out.

Putting things in perspective can make you realize what are the necessities versus needs. The couple, who admittedly are frugal, said they spend on things whose value would grow and on experiences that would bring happiness.

Money Advice to Kids

The actors have 6- and 5-year-old daughters but that doesn’t mean they can’t lesson them the value of money. Dax said that when they have to check out anywhere, they ask their children to pay so that they will know that the expenses come out of their parents’ money and aren’t given for free.

Kristen, meanwhile, is a little blunter. The Veronica Mars star narrates the time when the little ones poured an entire bottle of shampoo on the bathtub and she told them that she bought that and if everyone wastes things around the house then mommy would have to work late at night even more to have money to buy stuff again.
