Hollywood action star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has set major parenting goals for his fans, and the actor’s latest adorable video is proof of it. On Saturday, the Red Notice actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a heartwarming video of himself sitting down for a tea party with his 4-year-old daughter, Tiana.

Tiana’s refusal to believe her father’s role

Sharing an adorable glimpse of the father-daughter’s time, the Jumanji star revealed that the young girl has ‘refused to believe that he had voiced a character from one of her favourite Disney films. Dwayne has a special bond with his daughters and while he acknowledges the fact that as they grow, they may not remember the tea parties and dressing up for movie night but it is all about “putting life in real perspective” and moments that he would never forget.
His 4-year-old daughter, Tiana, certainly knows how to keep her father on the edge. For months, The Rock has been trying to convince his sweet girl that he’s the voice behind Maui from one of her favourite Disney films Moana. He sent her a birthday wish from Maui for her birthday in 2021. He also posted a video of him singing the famous song “You’re Welcome” to his daughter, and yet he still wasn't embraced with the role.
Then in May, when it felt like the entire world froze as countries tried to get a better handle on the COVID-19 pandemic, Johnson again tried to convince his daughter that he’s Maui; that he’s the same voice behind the tune she enjoys so much she makes her papa not only listen but sing to her many, many times a day.

Johnson has had incredible success since he made the transition from professional wrestling, but it appears his Moana character owes a bit to sports entertainment. The man who was once only known as The Rock, recently admitted that Maui was partially inspired by his own grandfather, wrestler, High Chief Peter Maivia.
Maivia was a famous wrestler in New Zealand in the 1960s but soon moved to the US and won multiple championships on the West Coast. He eventually started wrestling for the WWE in the late 1970s, where he formed rivalries with multiple wrestlers. He was also a sporadic actor, appearing as a henchman in the James Bond film “You Only Live Twice.”
