Most of us have a budget for Christmas gifts because, plain as day, we wouldn't want to be broke once the holidays are over.
But for celebrities worth millions of dollars, things can get a little extra -- case in point is Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West who their daughter North a very luxurious present.
For a wealthy family like the Kardashians who are always in the news for their luxurious lifestyle, sky is the limit when they gifted North a jacket once worn by none other than the late Michael Jackson.

If you have been busy during the holiday season spending time with your family, then you may have not heard about Kim and Kanye’s unbelievable display of their opulence. Apparently, North is a big fan of the late Man in The Mirror hitmaker and the mom and dad somehow knew that Michael’s jacket that he was photographed in next to Elizabeth Taylor would be the perfect gift for the little girl.
As usual, anything that the late singer wore, or held for that matter, comes with a hefty price tag and this garment was no different. The jacket is worth a whopping $65,625 and Kim and Kanye bought it in October at an auction (Julian’s Auction initially thought that the piece would be fetched for only $10,000 and $20,000, but obviously the celebrities were willing to give more for it).

That’s not the only thing North received from her parents. The KKW Beauty mogul also bought her child another King of Pop memorabilia, this time, a fedora that Michael wore in the Smooth Criminal music video in 1988. Kim shared that the hat still has the deceased’s makeup on it – it is unclear how much she got the headwear for.
As expected, this show of extravagance sparked backlash from people who said that giving a 6-year-old such an expensive gift was out of touch with reality. Others, meanwhile, took offense that the Keeping Up with The Kardashians star would give her daughter something from a man who is facing malicious assault allegations.

However, it is worth noting that Kim is far from the first to have gone all out for her child. Kylie Jenner, the 22-year-old youngest self-made billionaire, gave Stormi, her 1-year-old daughter with ex Travis Scott, an unmissable diamond ring. As if on cue, this sparked a barrage of comments from fans who were outraged of the display.
