Updates: June 3-9

The update is a little late this week due to the fact that I just got back from my work trip to Seattle. It was a very busy week so I’m happy to be home and getting back into the routine. There was so much going on that I didn’t have a chance to keep up with much reading, so there are a lot of new articles I’m looking forward to reading.

Here’s a few that I’m going to check out:

  • Smartphones bring a lot of opportunity for creating efficiencies through apps, but what if you’ve got too many? Canadian Finance Blog accidentally deleted all of their apps and found that it led to a minimalistic sense of satisfaction. CF had the same feeling after her phone died and had to be reset!
  • Money after Graduation looks at some tips for Packing for Trips. Pretty relevant for me, considering how much I’ve been traveling for work (although I’m trying to cut back a bit). I’ve streamlined my process with some help from OneBag.com, a great resource.
  • Studenomics asks “Would you Sell or Rent?” if your current tenants were leaving. To me, it depends on the market. I’m not sure where Martin lives, but since prices have been falling in my area, I would just find new tenants. What do you think?
