Kardashians and Jenners are known for their lavish lifestyles, family dramas, and more so, their divine, goddess-like hourglass figures. We mean, who doesn’t want to have that perfect waist-to-hip ratio! Speaking of that, Khloe Kardashian out of the entire Kardashian/Jenner clan has always been our favorite.

Khloe is relatable, genuine with her ideas, and OMG, damn full of sass. She’s always been quite open about her fitness journey and all she went through while struggling with her weight. Which is why we guess anything that’s already tried and tested by Khloé will surely hold some potential.

Khloe’s 7 meals a day plan

We all know that Khloe has tried way too many things when it comes to the wellness world, and more so, she’s been super open and transparent about her experiences. From putting vitamin E oil on her lady part to hard-core leg workouts, she’s tried them all. And now, she’s experimenting with her diet too.

Philip Goglia, Khloe’s nutritionist, recently shared with Daily Mail that she consumes 7 meals a day. Yes, you heard it right! Not snacks, not small portions, but seven proper meals that consist of vegetables, fruits, fish, etc. He added, consuming food in short intervals makes sure your metabolism works quickly and helps in better digestion. Each individual requires a proper breakdown of meals considering how their body works, in order to better digest essential nutrients like proteins, fats, and carbs.

But does this concept work universally?

Julie Upton, M.S, R.D, and cofounder of popular nutrition website, Appetite for Health, states that seven meals a day might seem like a lot. She also points out that it's more like three proper meals and four snacks, which is generally advised by most dietitians. But still, it might seem extremely hard to include so many eating breaks in a single day.

For some people, three proper heavy meals plus one snack is pretty much enough. While on the contrary, some still feel hungry. Therefore, this lifestyle won’t apply to every single individual. But, if you’re fine with having food after every two hours, you can surely try it out.

Depends on the “metabolic type” - Is that even a thing?

Doctors claim that there’s nothing such as different metabolic types. There’s no such evidence in medical history that can prove this theory. To lose weight and maintain it for a longer period of time, many factors can be involved such as your gut health, genetics, lifestyle, sleep patterns, brain chemistry, etc.

However, most people fall into three different categories of the body - ectomorph, endomorph, and mesomorph. Let’s just say we’ll talk about this in another post. For now, what you need to understand is that there’s no such term as metabolic types.

Hit or miss?

If you’re a fitness fanatic and are crazy about counting your calories, you can surely give this diet plan a try. If it works for you and benefits your fitness goals, good enough. But, if it doesn’t, what’s the harm in trying? Make sure you consume whole foods and a balance of each nutrient. We wish you luck!
